Fall Conditioning

2022 Fall Conditioning Program and Registration Information

Fall Conditioning is the newest DVTFC running and conditioning focusing on developing good running mechanics, building stamina and core strength, and improving speed endurance.  It is for both new / inexperienced runners and track athletes interested in shorter distances (sprints, middle distance).

Being willing to follow coaching instructions and work hard will result in noticeable running form and fitness improvement by the end of the program.  Workouts will be adjusted / modified based on a runner's age, ability and fitness.

The 2022 DVTFC Fall Conditioning (F-C) season begins Tuesday, August 30th and ends Sunday, November 6.


Open to boys and girls age 9 - 15 (younger and older athletes accepted with coaches approval)both experienced and beginners, who primarily prefer running shorter distances. (up to 800M)


Practices are:

  • Tuesdays 5:30pm - 6:30pm   @  Pleasant Hill Middle School
  • Thursdays  5:30pm - 6:30pm   @  Pleasant Hill Middle School

One practice day per week may move to Larkey Park (5 minutes from PHMS) toward the end of September to allow more workout options.  All practice times and locations will be listed on the "Calendar" section of the DVTFC website.


There are NO meets, since Track is a Spring/Summer sport and there are no field event workouts in this program.   A season-ending 'time trial' will likely take place on Sunday, November 6.


a)   $325 for the first athlete. 

b)   $250 for each additional sibling athlete. 

Program fees cover all insurance, coaches stipends, supplies, and facilities permits.  Participation is at the discretion of DVTFC and its coaches.

In order to provide proper attention to all our F-C runners, we expect to limit this year's program to 35 participants  - so register early to secure a spot !
